How to Improve Server Performance

The absolute most important step for improving server performance is to
PRE-GENERATE!!

 

• Using a mod like chunky can substantially improve your servers tick performance, which is STRONGLY recommended
  Plugin/Mod ----> https://modrinth.com/plugin/chunky

  We recommend doing the following

  Set the worldborder of the server (this is a Diameter, so this would be 5000 blocks in each direction from spawn)
  /worldborder set 10000
  
  This will tell Chunky to set the distance to the worldborder
  /chunky worldborder
  
  The starts Chunky
  /chunky start
